About the Speaker: Formerly an actress, a teacher, a waitress, a maid, a flute tooter, a math tutor, a hitchhiker and a Harley biker, a tractor-driving bush hogger, a moderator, a motivator, a blues singer, a bell ringer, a mountain climber, a set builder, a column writer, and a twin raiser…Kathy Lansford-Powell has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English and decades of experience teaching job-search skills. She currently conducts job-search classes at Austin Community College and facilitates the Launch Pad Job Club, the largest networking and support group for job seekers in Austin.
