AustinUP Q&A: Austin Public Library Job Portal

AustinUP Q&A: Austin Public Library Job Portal

Info

The Austin Public Library Job Portal was created during the COVID-19 Pandemic as a way for library staff to offer help to the Austin community through a challenging and uncertain job market. It offers a curated collection of resources for job seekers, and provides access to a team of expert job coaches for one-on-one assistance. And what’s more – it includes a section offering assistance to older adults.

AustinUP Executive Director Teresa Sansone Ferguson will lead the Q&A. Our guests are Lance Gentles, Program Specialist at the Carver Business & Employment Center, and Jace Furches, Central Library Reference Librarian, who will share information about the new job portal and how it can help older job seekers. Interested? Come listen, learn and ask questions via Facebook Live! (No need to RSVP.)
